Final Project for Geology
For my geology class, we had a course group project instead of a final. This made me happy because, if my math is correct, less finals = happiness.
We basically had the freedom to pick any national park in the world and create a project that showed 4 features of the park and how each was formed. The lame options were a pamphlet or a powerpoint and a few other lame ideas. But me, being my mother's daughter, decided to do something epic, super creative, and way harder than those options. Because why do a few hours of work when you can do a few days of work? Made sense to me. So, I pitched the idea of doing an informative children's book to my group mates. They loved the idea. We then made our project outline (we picked a park and the four features, describing each and how they were formed) and at the top I included that we were going to create a children's book. When we got back his video response to our outline, he said that he LOVED the idea and that no one had ever done it for the project before! I honestly have never felt more proud of an idea in my life. It was completely original and it was gonna be awesome.
Below is the link to the final result. My groupmates wrote the text (with minor edits by me) and I did the art. I think it turned out super cute. And we got a good grade on it! Thank goodness cause that means I ended the semester with all A's. Let me know in the comments what you guys think about it!
